Participate in this project for teens and young adults at the Harvard Museums of Science & Culture
Hear Me Out/Escúchame is a project for those who are aged 14–19. Bring your ideas and opinions into two of Harvard science museums and help make exhibits more contemporary and meaningful for Latino/a/x audiences.
Learn more about the project at a free, online information session and workshop (materials provided). You will experiment with collage techniques: an artistic composition of different materials glued to a surface. You’ll think like a curator, make your point visually, and meet bilingual project staff in an informal environment. You’ll see images of objects and galleries of the Peabody Museum of Archaeology & Ethnology and the Harvard Museum of Natural History. If you like the workshop, apply to the project. We hope you’ll sign up!
No art or production experience is necessary. Immigration status does not matter. Teens selected to participate in Hear Me Out/Escúchame will receive project training, a $200 gift card, and other benefits for their important contributions.
