DRAWING THE ANIMALS: Class #3 Drawing is a great way to connect with the natural world, and close study of museum specimens can be an inspiring way to develop your drawing skills. Join us for a course in observational drawing, a chance to explore the museum's zoological collections from a whole new perspective. Taught by professional artist and educator Erica Beade, this course introduces students to basic techniques such as shading, working from general shapes to details, and capturing movement, and will provide feedback as you develop your sketching skills in the classroom and galleries. $95 for members/$110 for nonmembers Register online by January 19, 2013 Read about other HMNH lectures, events, and classes: http://www.hmnh.harvard.edu/lectures_classes_events.html
