Join us for a free evening at the Harvard Museums of Science & Culture.

  • Attend the conversation, Manifest: Thirteen Colonies Book Launch and Conversation, with photographer Wendel White, Deborah Willis, Leigh Raiford, Cheryl Finley, and Brenda Tindal, from 6:00 to 7:30 pm ET. 
  • Visit the exhibition Manifest: Thirteen Colonies, featuring photographs of African American material culture housed in collections throughout the thirteen original United States colonies and Washington, D.C.
  • Take a moment to write about your experience seeing the images featured in the exhibition, guided by writing prompts provided by the museum or your own reflections.
