Summer Science Week
Time: 9:30 am – 12:00 pm
Recommended for children entering grades 3–6.
Young explorers will discover the daily life of the ancient Maya through exhibits at the Peabody Museum. Kids will decode hieroglyphs, learn about cacao—the basis of chocolate—and engage in traditional weaving, dying, and Mesoamerican games. This is a chance to learn some Spanish as the program will be presented in Spanish and English.
Fee: $210 members / $235 nonmembers
